Although I love the writing style of this author, I am upset at the same time. I understand the D/s style of life, buyt I know for a fact that even a newe sub would not roll over that easy and give her life away. Not one of this authors books has a sub with any backbone. Really started out with promise on this one though, then fell flat. Come on a hunger strike, a sloppy attempt on their own life, runaway and hiding, kneeing him in the balls something besides rolling over and just spreading their legs please.I give this a 3 & 1/2 star rating because of the frustration level. A great book is not just the sex, and although you can draw the reader into your stories, there just isn't enough challenge with your heroines.Product details

I gave four stars because although this story is not my usual preference it was really well written. A complete story that did not seen rushed or forced. I found myself getting upset when the characters were upset. I live when i get into a story that deep.
This story kept me hooked until the very end. Also this story has an ending that I did not expect, that still made the story turn out great.
I was gifted an ARC copy of this book from Stormy night publication with the promise of a review. Also I willing reviewed this book.

It was OK but definitely not my cup of tea. Breezed through but really didn't read the entire story. Too many spankings and humiliations that bordered on cruelty.
The free excerpt for this book📕 gave no hint at the real gist of this short embarrassing read. Instead of an alien abduction novel, it was more like a blackmailed into sexual humiliation novel.
If I had known about the weird medical procedures and the public humiliation of the main character, Astrid💋, a young human woman of wealth and privilege, I would have skipped this book📕 and not wasted my money on it.
I liked the alien Wolfian character, Darghon🐺✋💪🍌🌋 , he was brutally handsome and strong💪, cold, and calculating. Yet he can't control his lust🍌🌋✋ and feelings of need toward His sexual slave -in-training, Astrid. Darghon is a B class Wolfian🐺, and he has figured out that sexually training and turning the blond virgin👰💋, Astrid into the perfect submissive For a wealthy A class Wolfian🐺✋🍌🌋, will give him enough wealth For he himself to become an A class citizen when she is sold. Then, he will be able to return to his home planet to live and buy his own submissive human mate 👰. The best laid plans.........
For all his race's superiority to humans, both physical and technologic, in the end, his heart💘gets in the way and trips him up.

I didn't like parts of this book📕 for personal reasons, but it is well written and has a great plot. The first part of the book drew me in. The Wolfian🐺 not only transfixed Astrid💋, he mesmerized me, too!

Samantha Madisen has a gift for delving into the psychology of her characters and bringing their emotions to the surface, yet without spilling over into the trite or cliched. She's created a thrilling portrayal of a post-apocalyptic world...and it's one that just so happens to be HOT as hell! I can't wait for her next publication!
